A range of lovely rooms with quality queen beds, ensuite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities with fridges, 32 inch LCD TV’s and blackout drapes. Some rooms have amazing views to the harbour and others to the Waitakere Ranges. Most rooms have historic original fireplaces, stained glass windows, antique writing desks and access to the front upstairs verandah.
We have installed a new air conditioning and heat pump system to cool the room in summer and heat in winter.
Free unlimited Wi-Fi (ultrafast fibre connection) is available in all rooms. Full cooking facilities are available in the extensively equipped main house shared kitchen / dining room and there is a cozy TV lounge for guests to relax in.

Our latest upmarket accommodation : the Ponsonby Manor is a fully renovated guest house situated on trendy Ponsonby Road this is a victorian manor house that has been renovated to the highest standard. Originally built around 1865 it has many features of a past gone era including beautiful Victorian fire places, stained glass windows and amazing views to the city and harbour … and everything is brand new!
Life at the Ponsonby Manor is very simple and easy. Daily cleaner, all electricity, water, and local telephone calls are inclusive in the weekly tariff.
